It is reported that the following Windows processes are part of OpenSC smartcard framework:

• dnie-tool.exe
• opensc-notify. exe

If you want to remove OpenSC smartcard framework from your computer, just go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs and select OpenSC smartcard framework from the list of programs.
